Moose

Hey Little One,

Mommy went to Vermont with you to visit her friend Emily. We used to work together at TFA. Emily is so nice- she's from the South, and she was the hostess with the mostest. She made sure that Mommy was well fed for you, and we did a bunch of fun, but relaxing stuff. On Friday night, we walked to uptown Burlington to have dinner, and Mommy had a wonderful salad with steak on it. The next day, Mommy and Emily did the Color Run, and we ran the whole way. I was pretty proud of myself, since I haven't been running since before our wedding, but I kept telling myself that if I was going to go through labor for you, I could run 3 miles, and we did it! Thanks for the motivation, baby.

Then we went back to Emily's, and her boyfriend Dave cooked us organic corn waffles and turkey bacon. It was yummy. Then we drove around and looked at a bunch of the farms around them. We went to an Apple Farm and had cider donuts and apple Betty's- a delicious ice cream treat with fresh apple cobbler mixed in. Yummy! Then we went to try different Vermont cheeses and maple syrup and different jellies and jams. Later, we went botiquing in Burlington, and I saw a bunch of the cutest Moose clothes. They actually have Moose crossing signs in Vermont, but Mommy didn't get to see any actual Moose. But the baby clothes all had a bunch of Moose on them. I think you'll love animals, like Mommy and Daddy. For dinner, we all ate at another organic placed with some of Emily and Dave's friends, and then came home and played Cards Against Humanity. It was funny.

On the last day, Emily and I drove to a ski town in Vermont and ate really good Mexican food for lunch. We also got maple lattes before Emily drove me to the airport. It was great to see her, and a fun weekend overall.

I love you so much, Little One. I can't wait to take you on a bunch of adventures once you're out and about in the world.

Love you,

Mommy xoxo
